Initiative: Okomo Companies Near by – Geolocation functionality
The core of the initiative is a functionality to help the Okomo eco-system find peers/companies that are also using Okomo and network/communicate with them easily, based on proximity of geolocation.
Technology Stack:
Back-End: Node.js + Typescript;
Front-End: Angular, Typescript; DB: MongoDB; QA Stack: Postman; DevOps & Cloud: Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud.
Team: 10 Team members: 1 CTO, 1 Technical Lead – Front End, 1 Technical Lead – Back End, 1 DevOps & Cloud, 4 Software Engineers and 1 Quality Assurance Engineers
Project Management: Agile Scrum, daily stand-up meetings. 4-week sprints (3 weeks for development and 1 week for testing and release) grooming.
IGA Team Extension: Two team members that worked on building the geolocation support using google maps, integration with the services of GM and integration with the existing system. We had one Technical Consultant – Software Engineering and one Senior Technical Consultant – Software Engineering where the team’s main responsibilities were developing the back-end integration of the solution with Google Maps services as well as creating a UI interface that would display the services on the Front-End side of the SaaS solution.
