It is a pleasure to introduce our newest team member, Graham Merriman, as Managing Partner for the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Benelux, eager to take the International Growth Agency to new heights.
With more than 20+ years of experience as an e-commerce consultant, lecturer, co-founder, and investor in many startups, Graham will help IGA reach its full potential and fill in skills gaps in a range of areas.
I’m delighted to have the opportunity to participate in the amazing things happening at the International Growth Agency. I have known Aleksandar Ubavkov for some time, first as a business mentor and later as a service provider. I’ve always been impressed by his passion and knowledge and have kept myself informed of the progress he has been making. I have also worked with Borce Manev for several years and have seen firsthand the types of services and the quality of work their teams deliver.
IGA’s team, together with Graham’s impressive career portfolio, experience, and network, will help businesses in UKI and Benelux bring innovation to the market.
I’ve been active in the area of e-commerce for over 20 years. I lived and worked in Amsterdam for Philips Consumer Electronics as the Global Director of Online Sales. In this role, I managed some of Philips’s largest e-commerce accounts and helped to develop their e-commerce and digital strategies. I returned to Ireland in 2012, and for the last 10 years, I’ve been an e-commerce consultant and lecturer while also co-founding and investing in a number of startups.
As a leading e-commerce expert, he expects e-commerce to be fully integrated and become a leading part of all retailers’ strategies. Meanwhile, IGA will be here to support its partners all along the way.
E-commerce has always been about understanding how technology can support your business goals, which in retail tends to be delivering profitable growth. I strongly believe that more businesses will start to see their growth inextricably linked to investments in technology and will need partners like IGA to support their ambitions.
Yes, Graham brings a wealth of e-commerce experience that will serve our clients well – but it’s his sunny personality that makes him a pure joy to work with.
In the upcoming years, he believes that the International Growth Agency will be a leader in the UKI and Benelux market, taking advantage of the future growth in nearshoring.
I am really excited to be joining the team because I see massive potential for growth. In most developed markets, but especially in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Benelux, there are significant skills gaps in a range of areas. More and more companies are looking to outsource their tech requirements as it offers flexibility and cost savings. However, many companies have had unsatisfactory experiences with poor service and delivery. I know that IGA provides all of the advantages of nearshore outsourcing and can guarantee a very high level of customer satisfaction. The quality of the people IGA can bring to large and small enterprises means it is well-positioned to take advantage of future growth in nearshoring.
We are excited to have experts like Graham on board and can’t wait to see what he will accomplish as part of the IGA family.
